Have you been wanting to learn how to step-up your social media posts? 

Join PBAP for our Canva Workshop, which will be led by Mr. Tracy Thomason (Realtor for Exit Realty of Lubbock).

Canva is a design tool that helps you create beautiful creative assets for social media, websites, posters and more. www.canva.com

In this class, Mr. Thomason will teach us how to use Canva to make:

• Event Announcements
• Congratulation Posts (new emplyees, employees earning educational awards, etc.)
• Job openings
• Documentation (creating letterheads, Canva slideshows - which are essentially PowerPoint replacements, etc.)

Basic Canva (using the Free version of Canva):

• The user interface
• Basic elements (text, shapes, frames, images, etc.)
• Layering elements
• Image manipulation tools
• The use of templates
• The differences between Free & Pro versions of Canva
• Finding ways to practice Canva regularly

Followed by, Advanced Canva (using the Paid version of Canva):

• Advanced image manipulation tools
• Canva apps
• Producing & sharing templates
• Advanced video techniques
• Creating single public-facing webpages
• Heads-up screen sharing for training videos

He will walk the class through:

• Producing a more intricate video using advanced editing techniques
• Making a branded "stamp" to put on other images via advanced layering and editing
• Creating a website for class notes. which he then shares with the class
• Bulk creating 52 social media posts in about 15 minutes using ChatGPT and Canva
• Videoing a quick training of how to do something on the computer (usually he videos how to do something in Canva or ChatGPT since those are both open at this point in class) 

This class is perfect for your salesmen, business developers, social media admin, marketing managers, etc!

Our 8th Annual PBAP Golf Tournament will occur at Hogan Golf Course in Midland, TX on THURSDAY, JUNE 11, 2026

Two Flights: 8 AM & 1:00 PM (registration and meal provided one hour prior to each flight)

Format: 4-person scramble

Hogan is now Midland's only public course, so they have changed their tournament-scheduling rules. We are allowed 1 course, Roadrunner, instead of both courses, and tournaments will only ne held on Thursdays. They will allow 5 cook trailers on RR course, and 2-3 cook trailers at the pavilion.

Each player gets a new set of OAKLEY SUNGLASSES!

All drinks (Alcohol & non-Alcohol) must be purchased from Hogan.   

Rental clubs (10 sets) are available at the course for a nominal fee ($35).

No personal golf carts, ATVs or UTVs allowed.
